Karen Janson served as our real estate representative in the purchase of home in Spotsylvania this spring. We were pleased with Karen's focus on our housing needs, and she consistently worked on our behalf and with our best interest in mind through the entire process. We appreciated her careful attention to detail. Her responses to our calls and emails was very timely. She was available when we had questions and provided wise counsel. We ultimately purchased a new home and Karen was present for our walk-throughs and at the final settlement, carefully reviewing the details and responding to our inquiries about what we observed. While Karen served as our real estate representative, she also served as a very capable third-party reviewing our documents given that we moved from Florida and were working with different state and local parameters. In addition to Karen's personal involvement, she was supported by an excellent team that served as resource to us at key points through the process. Last fall we made the decision to sell our home and subsequently contacted Avery-Hess, Realtors. In the months prior to putting our home on the market their team spent time assessing what was necessary to best showcase our home, facilitated all the various vendors and contractors needed to accomplish this and followed up constantly to ensure all was satisfactory to us. They took the time to answer all our questions, provided accurate data to assess the best possible price for us, gave us a well thought through marketing plan, then negotiated and brought us a full price contract with a well qualified buyer  from another agency and we sold our house within 24 hours. The follow up and communication on all details from contract to closing was great and alleviated all our concerns about meeting a short settlement. We can’t thank them enough for making this as stress free as possible during this transition in our life.
